Caribbean Sea: Iemanjà in Martinica

Martinica, Caribbean Sea – Jem loaded the tender of all good things. It has been from the the Canary Islands who had not seen a galley so rich. The two guests had decided to celebrate sixty years of him with a twenty days cruise on a sailboat in the Caribbean.

From the Canary Islands Iemanjà has not seen a seaport. At 05:00 am Jem made its mooring quay and got all the fresh water that he had been lacking in the last five months.

Jem placed a huge bowl of fresh andthe fragrant fruits on the bed of the cabin of lemanjà. Iemanjà came back clean, bright to welcome the new travelers guests.
When the travelers came, Jem greeted them with a frozen mojito. Amedeo and Fiore are a beautiful italian couple, happy and fun. Both had already traveled on lemanjà in Greece, together with her mother Sofia (76 years of an innate youth) and his daughter Lucia.

Caribbean SeaThe guests traveled from Rome to the Caribbean Sea to open the bags as if it was already Christmas. – “This is fresh basil” – said Amedeo, smiling to Jem in front of a basil plant. – “Basil never fails” – I replied – “But with the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crossing It has been literally blown away.” – “This rather not you lose …” – Amedeo said again, handing to me the rod still of his new speargun.

Speargun that Jem has not been able to recover after losing it during a fishing trip. Auction over the body of a giant grouper that had cut the top, slipping between the corals, then sinking into the Caribbean Sea…

Martinica offers an amazing variety of landscapes, although It’s still suffering from uncontrolled urban sprawl, in particular around the capital Fort-de-France. Life is quieter towards North or South in some of the loveliest villages on the island..
